In collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, Voxelgrid has created a 3D BIM model of a pilot building that contributes to energy-efficient classification and sustainable building management.

As part of the âESG Readiness Network (ReadE)â project, Voxelgrid carried out a 3D survey of a pilot building in collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics. Using our technology and software, we created a detailed pointcloud that is currently being used to generate a comprehensive 3D BIM-model. The model supports energy efficient classification and compliance with the EU taxonomy to promote sustainable building management solutions.
It is part of a pilot program to digitize building data for sustainable maintenance and operation processes and includes not only the digitization of the building, but also the development of an information load booklet that serves as a guide for calculating energy requirements. The recorded building data is continuously integrated into the BIM model to ensure high data quality and precise results.
