As part of the digitization of the historical properties of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg, we carried out a test survey of the Kavaliershaus on the famous "Pfaueninsel". This UNESCO World Heritage Site, about which you can find detailed information here, is part of a comprehensive digitization project that supports the preservation and long-term maintenance of the Prussian cultural heritage.

Using our technologies, we created a precise pointcloud of the Kavalierhaus. The resulting data was then used to create detailed 2D CAD plans and 3D BIM model that can be used for both maintenance and future planning. The 3D BIM models created will enable the foundation to implement efficient facility management processes and plan the maintenance budget more accurately.

The digitization of the holdings not only contributes to documentation, but also offers the opportunity to manage resources more sustainably and preserve the cultural heritage digitally. The models allow those responsible to access comprehensive information without having to be on site. This optimizes maintenance processes and makes it much easier to manage the properties.
